Serving Face

Assalamu Aleikum Queens,

I hope you're enjoying your Sunday. So as it's been quite a while since I've posted any make-up looks I thought I'd share a look from last night. So let's get into it... I'll post the full look first and share the products I used after.

If you like this make-up look and like to contour, highlight and have maxi lashes then read on! All the products included in this post I've been using for months and some for years. I swear by them and I make sure I use a product for a few months before posting about it. That way I can give an honest review to you guys. The good news is that these products are very affordable but at the same time don't harm the skin.

So without further ado; Here's the list of products.

1. FASHION FAIR SOUFFLE MAKE-UP FOUNDATION
This is the foundation I used on my face and I've posted about how great it is in a previous post. I've been wearing this on my face for the last 3 years or more and I'm so pleased with it that I'll never switch to another as long as this one's on the market. I use it in the shade Tan and a little goes a long way with this product and it covers everything! Discoloration, spots, scars, you name it. It makes my skin look real good and if I want it to keep doing that I need to purchase another before the pot goes empty!

2. L.A GIRL PRO CONCEAL HD HIGH DEFINITION CONCEALER
I've used these concealer in two shades, the darker shade is Warm Honey and the lighter shade is Medium Beige. These little things are such handy tools and serve multiple purposes. I used Warm Honey to conceal the dark circles under my eyes, cover up the dark areas around my mouth and I also use it to shape my eyebrows. After the 1st layer of concealer sets under my eyes I apply the Medium Beige. The reason for this is because although the warm honey conceals everything, it's exactly the same shade as my face. So I go in with the Medium Beige to highlight the area under my eyes. Honestly, these little things are winners!

3. MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH
This is the bronzer I used on my cheeks. I use the dark shade and it bronzes my face beautifully. I actually apply this on my cheeks before I contour. It isn't too dark and gives me lovely gold bronze cheeks. I've posted about this product before so I won't go on about how great it is.. but know this.. IT'S GREAT!!

4. BEN NYE BANANA LUXURY POWDER
I used this banana powder for two things, firstly, I used the baking method to highlight the area under my eyes and cheekbones. So I applied a generous amount of banana powder and let it set for 15 minutes. And secondly, I use it to set my foundation. I wear this stuff everyday so it's no surprise that the content is almost finished.

5. SLEEK HIGHLIGHT KIT
This is the kit I use to contour my face. I've never used anything else for contour however, I've been meaning to try a cream contour kit. The highlight part is amazing, I use it on my brow bone and cheekbones and chin... and sometimes my nose if I'm feeling adventurous! I love the glow I get from it.

6. LANCOME EYESHADOW
I used this white eyeshadow on the corners of my eyes. I always look tired after work but doing this makes me look awake. I'm also wearing eyeshadow on my lids but I forgot which one I used so I'll conveniently leave that out!

7. ME ME ME EYESHADOW
This is the dark brown  eyeshadow I used to fill in my brows. Although my brows are thick naturally, they look a bit empty. I used to buy eyebrow kits but eyeshadow works just the same because it is the same. I also find that eyeshadow last longer than the kits because with the kits you have two colours and I always use one side until it's finished then bin the rest. What a waste of product!

8. ESSENCE VOLUME MASCARA & CLINIQUE HIGH IMPACT MASCARA
This is going to sound sooo weird but I use different mascaras on the top and bottom lashes. On the top I applied the taller tube which is the Essence I Love Extreme Volume Mascara. I've posted about this mascara before and I can''t tell you how amazing it is in words, just look how great they make my lashes look (and please say Masha'Allah while your looking). And on my bottom lashes I used the Clinique High Impact Mascara. The reason I use this instead is because it doesn't leave black marks under my eyes like the Essence one. I also used black eyepencil to complete my eyes.

9. MAC LIPSTICK & CLINIQUE LIP GLOSS
I really hope my little sister isn't reading this because both the lipstick and lip liner belong to her, oh and also the hijab I'm wearing. What are sisters for ey? Anyway, the lipstick is by MAC and is in the shade Mocha. It has a satin feel to it and stays on your lips for a long time. I love the lip liner as well but the name has worn off. From what I can make of it it's called MoanLove? That doesn't sound right.. maybe it's MoonLove? Who knows! I'm sorry I can't share that with you but it's in shade Auburn, I know that much. After the liner I applied Clinique lip gloss to blend the lipstick and lip liner.

10. LA GIRL PRO SETTING
So finally when I've completed my face I spray this setting spray all over my face to keep everything matte for as long as possible. I have very oily skin and I hate it when my face gets shiny after an hour or two. This product keeps my makeup looking fresh for at least 5 hours (yes I've timed it haha!).

That's it guys, I hope you enjoyed this post. The products I used seem a lot more now that I've written about them! Alas! There you have it.. it's approaching my bed time so I'm going to wrap this up..

Thank you for visiting, it was a pleasure to have you
Take Care,
